Position summary:

 

We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to support the smooth operation of our warehouse. This role involves managing inventory, processing shipments and ensuring products are stocked and delivered efficiently. Main responsibilities:

Receive, inspect and record incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Select, pack and prepare orders for delivery or shipment in accordance with company standards.
Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse, ensuring that items are stored correctly and safely.
Update inventory systems to reflect stock movements and maintain accurate records.
Carry out regular inventories to identify discrepancies and report any problems.
Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet trucks, safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate shipments and deliveries.
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment by following workplace safety standards.
Assist in resolving inventory or delivery issues as they arise.

Profile required:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience (an asset).
Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 lbs.
Proficiency in inventory systems and basic computer skills (e.g. MS Office).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Valid forklift operator certification (an asset).
Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company protocols.

Compensation and benefits :

Salary: $27$ / hour 
Overtime on request.
